One of the things you have to consider when you start working in this business is what you choose to tell your family.
I think this is a harder choice for women as there is a very negative stigma that is attached regardless if you work behind or in front of the camera.
My parents are pretty progressive thinking for a Southern family with roots in the bible belt and a Southern Baptist upbringing.
So there never was a choice for me even as a hobbist when I ran an adult BBS.
They always have known.
So this makes Christmas extra special for the males in my family each year as the request is always for PORN!
I guess my dad has become very popular with the guys in the family after I started giving him some of the promo DVDs I get.
He doesnt want any cool gadgets, clothing or anyting personal. He just wants a few DVDs.
Over the last few years this has become a problem as most of the studios do not give away promo copies as freely as they used to.
Plus Jack has gotten picky on what he likes to watch.
At first I used to get him all of the amateur stuff because I know a lot of the people that make the movies. The novelty wore off pretty quick when I gave him a batch of some of Porno Dan's Milk Mamas videos.
Jack said those bitches were skanky.
So I was lucky enough to get a stack of some of Earl Miller's videos from some of his Penthouse shoots when I was doing some work for him recently.
Jack appreciated the autographed copies and he said that was more of what he liked to look at. He did comment that they could use a lot more action because its pretty boring watching a woman undress to just pose for the camera.
So this leaves me with a quandry at this years gift giving season. What the hell do I buy him?
Do I go out and get him a copy of Pirates or do I give him a copy of the lastest home brewed video Ive gotten from a couple in Warner Robbins.
Would he prefer Jenna and her glossy companions or 2 hot southern babes taking a bubble bath and licking each other?
I need your help here.
If I make the wrong call then I have to start all over on Fathers Day and his birthday.
And trust me.
