That was before the internet.

I submit to you that it is now possible for you to be a star. An adult star - a porn star.

Technology has moved so fast that now it is possible for you to shoot your own nudie home movie and see it not only on DVD but actually in stores and certainly distributed on the internet.

As I relaunch GonZoland - I have to remember its humble beginings as a single line - one at a time - dial up BBS that lived in my basement in some shape or form during the late 80s and thru the 90s.

Back then we didnt have the internet nor the resources that as you find availible to you on GonZoland.

But for a brief moment in time several of us held a new talk TV station here under siege for an entire week. The new format for WTLK in Marietta Georgia was all talk. And there were so many inane talk shows that they had to make this station fly. So we managed to convince WTLK to have our "club" on TV as guests. The entire week before that we called in on each and every show getting a plug in for what would be the most watched segment in the history of the station.
The real purpose of the appearance was to actually plug the BBS and get the phone number out there to people that were interested in our lunacy and antics.
